Bertrand Le Mellat set up Rain Chains Europe following a trip to Japan, where he discovered this highly original concept of aesthetically pleasing downspouts.
Being conscious of sustainable development and rainwater harvesting notions, we wish to promote the novel, esthetic and amusing concept that is the rain chain. Our first encounter with rain chains took place in Japan, during a trip in 2009, where we had the opportunity to admire their effect on the local temples.
Our products
For the past 10+ years, we have been studying the particular characteristics of gutters in France and in Europe (as shapes differ significantly from one country to the next) to offer fittings tailored to the rain chains we supply.
All rain chains available for purchase on our website are in stock. They will be delivered to you within 3 to 7 working days of placing your order or upon clearance of your cheque payment. For more information, you can access our payment policy or our shipping and delivery policy.
Our products are crafted from the highest quality metals, which explains why we confidently extend a 10 year warranty. We also offer a 2 month trial period. If you are not satisfied with the chain during this period, you can return it for a full refund (excluding shipping costs).
